yveline marcelin

Yveline Marcelin was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She moved to the United States at the age of 13. Yveline has been the owner of One by One Home Care since January 2012. Yveline received a bachelor’s degree in professional administration from Barry University in 2007 and she is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at ORU. Yveline resides in Woodstock, Georgia. She enjoys traveling, feeding children, and taking care of the elderly and the disabled individual.

The mission of Feeding the Children started in Haiti on March 30, 2019, during her first medical mission trip to Lascarobas, Haiti. Yveline realized, most of the children that were there suffered from hunger. They were between the ages of 5 to 18 years old. The stories she heard were heartbreaking. Most of the children walked long distances to get to school without breakfast and had to sit through class hungry until the school free lunch was served. Many of the children went home to an empty dinner table. Making the school lunch the only meal they received. Since the children of Haiti do not have a voice in the US, she decided to give back by being their voice. Yveline is giving back because she was once that kid who went to school hungry and went back home to an empty dinner table. After all, she was poor.

Yveline loves the Lord Jesus Christ and believes in the power of the supernatural. Yveline’s keys to success are as follows:

  • Galatians 6:4-5 “Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else. For we are each responsible for our own conduct”.
  • Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose”.
  • A quote by Frederick Douglas, “Life without struggle leads to no success”..
